| Anita Chandwaney. Anita is also an actress and Co-founder/executive director of Rasaka Theatre Company, Chicago's first South Asian American ensemble. She is currently completing work on her play Gandhi Marg, set in the Devon neighborhood on Chicago's far north side. Her acting work includes work in Chicago with Organic in The Conduct of Life, Pegasus Players in To Be Young Gifted and Black, Live Theatre in Macbett, Play’s The Thing in Talking With…, in NYC with Playwright’s Horizons in Desert Storms, Ensemble Studio Theatre in New Living Newspaper, Open Eye New Stagings in Naim, The Jet of Blood, The Knitting Factory in Such Sweet Thunder, and in London at Bridge Lane in Romeo and Juliet, Studio Five in A Month in the Country. She has had several one-liners in television and film. She has spent the past 5 years traveling the U.S. and Europe as a corporate spokesperson for Intel and Cisco Systems. | ||||||||||
| Jacob Juntunen. Jacob's work has been produced by Edward Albee in Houston, and by the Engaged Theatre and the Northwest Dramatists' Guild in Portland, OR. A short film he wrote was produced by 1/2-Off Productions. He's currently working on his Ph.D. in Theatre at Northwestern University and sending new plays to anyone who will read them. | Spike Kunetz is pleased to be back for his second stint with The 24 Hour Project. He has authored several plays including Another Tricky Day, Billy Fields Forever, and Ms. Cockadoodledoo and the Little Guy. He has numerous directing credits including the musical Earth To Margaret for LID Productions, B.S. for The Free Associates, and Patriautism for Chicago Sketchfest. Spike teaches comedy writing and improvisation at the Second City Training Center. | ||||||||||
| Brandy McClendon is one of the original producers of The 24 Hour Project. She has written for two, directed for one, and has cast playwrights for four projects. Ms. McClendon (if you’re nasty) is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Theatre-Playwrighting. Her full length play Jerusalem Syndrome received a reading at The Mckinney Ave Contemporary as well as a workshop production. Her piece Labor for a Souvenir was performed at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland at the Trinity New Plays Festival. On stage, Brandy has worked regionally with Utah Shakespearean Festival, Madison Repertory, Hope Summer Repertory, Cleveland Play House, Chicago Dramatists, and the Dallas Shakespeare Festival. She is the recipient of the Rosenfeld Award for Excellence in Playwriting and the Dallas/Fort Worth Critics' Award for Best Actress. | ||||||||||
